Friendship? Priceless.

Well, I found out that I love San Francisco. Yup. I was there for less than
24 hours, but the weather absolutely stole my heart. So did the architecture
and the hustle bustle of the very east-coast-vibe that is downtown. I didn’t
even get to see the Golden Gate or Chinatown, and I STILL love this city. I
promise it has nothing to do with the fact that it has “Fran” in it’s name.
Okay, maybe just a little.

It’s been a great couple of weeks lately. I was home in Nashville for an
entire week in a row (which is a feat, I tell you!), and I had a wonderful
time in Atlanta a few Saturdays ago at Celebrate Freedom. A bunch of my
friends drove down from Nash to see me play, and a good friend from drove
over from Columbus. Needless to say, I felt loved. They cheered as loud as
they could and waited around for an HOUR while I signed autographs. Now
those are friends!

My mom was also visiting, and we got to spend all weekend together as well
as Labor Day. After she left, I spent the rest of the week catching up on
errands, cooking, going to the gym, and having a normal life. It was
exquisite. I stayed up too late and played fun card games with my friends. I
ate ice cream and watched movies with my roommates. God worked a lot of
details out that had been hanging in the air, and He blessed me beyond
belief. Plus, I got to go to my church 2 weeks in a row! Incredible!

To top it all of, last Sunday my song, “Behind the Scenes” was featured on
MTV’s “The Hills.” We had a little viewing party, and it was incredible to
see so many people gather to celebrate an exciting moment in my life. God is
so good. Friendship is absolutely priceless. And I can honestly say that I
have some of the best friends a person could have. They love God and love
each other and are the most supportive, fun, beautiful people I know. Thank
You, Lord, for showing Yourself through your children. I see you in
laughter. I love you SO much.

‘Till next time,
Francesca
