Well well well. There is so much I want to say about the recent events in my life. I don't even know where to begin! Matthew Goodwin came into my life last September, though I didn't know then that he would become the man I'd marry. In late summer, he will be my husband! I am beyond thrilled and so incredibly excited about what God has in store. It's funny--things don't typically turn out exactly as planned, but if you live a life of obedience to God and trust Him even when you can't see the promise being fulfilled, He will fulfill it in due season. And He makes all things work together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purposes (Romans 8:28).
Matt and I met on the NewSong fall tour last September, but we didn't spend much time together. I remember thinking, "gosh, he's on his computer a lot." I thought he was just a computer nerd, but come to find out he is getting His master's degree in theological studies online through Liberty University. I learned that one quiet afternoon on the Winter Jam tour in a green room in Ohio, when he and I had one of our first good talks. I was very impressed.
He asked me for my number the day before the Super Bowl, and used it the very next day to text me during the game. He began finding reasons to text me more and more, and by the time he bought me a CD of an artist I mentioned liking in passing, I knew something was up. In fact, he had been pursuing me since the beginning of the tour, but I just hadn't caught on. So he likes to say he's been dating me longer than I've been dating him! :)
Anyway, we had our first date in South Carolina, and from then on I asked God very specific questions about him and got very specific answers. I kept my heart guarded until he laid his out, and by then I knew. I knew he was my Someday Soon.
His sister took engagement photos of us last week, and they are absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Here is one of my favorites:
Be encouraged that God knows the desires of your heart, and He longs to give them to you. Keep everything in your heart open to Him, and allow Him to change your heart if need be. Trust me, His redemption power is incredible, and true love is really the sweetest thing in the whole world. I am blessed beyond words!

Someday Soon
I am so happy for you! It just amazes me how God works things out. I must say, the song "Someday Soon" is a very nice song, probably my favorite on the album. I'm getting married next year and this song very much so applies to our relationship. I would love to walk down the aisle to Someday Soon, but I haven't been able to find the music for it. I pray you guys have a very great life! I did read that you guys were expecting your first child also, congrats again! I'm not really sure how I stumbled this far back, but I'm glad to see how great God is blessing your life. I know your music has brought us all so many blessings.

Just wanted to tell you Congrats on the engagement...I just got engaged about 3 months ago and couldnt be happier than I am. When I heard your song "Forever Love" I just absolutely fell in love with that song and I think that is going to be the song we have played while we light our unity candle during our ceremony...You are such an amazing and beautiful person! Thank you for your music, its amazing. Hope see your some of your wedding pictures because Im sure they are beautiful! :)

That is amazing, I'm so glad someone like you has found a good man. Oh my gosh Francesca! I am so happy for you! Are you going to keep your stage last name Battistelli? I love your music and do dances to them in my church all the time, Beautiful Beautiful, Free to be Me. I plan on doing, I'm Letting Go, Blue Sky, and My Paper Heart too! I also am going to hope to have our praise band play My Paper Heart! Good luck!

Francesca I have been listening to your music for some time now. And I love it!! This summer we had a girls dance group at church and made a dance to Free To Be Me and started making some for your other songs. My friends and I sing along and dance to your music all the time. You and your songs are so inspiring!!! I saw you, Brandon Heath,and Leeland in concert October 23rd in San Antonio, TX. I didn't know how much impact the concert as a whole was going to put on my life and how much God would come even more into my heart. You all are amazing artist, followers, and worshipers of God!! I listen to all of yalls music everyday. Its so encouraging. I thank God for you all and hope you have a blessed life, a great concert tour, a great life with your husband.
I met yall at the concert and had yall sign my posters, i wanted to be able to talk to yall more but yall had to get on the road and i was so just in shock of meeting yall I didn't know what to say lol :) I say yall alot :)

I am deeply inspired by how you gave up the life you planned and went with life the God wanted. You are doing a wonderful job of singing of God's beauty and Faithfullness. One of my favorite songs by you (I have a lot) is Time in between. It gave me butterflies. In January I will be seeing you in concert in Tennessee at TCTC. Well I heard this news at a concert here in pharr and I wanted to tell you Congratulations.!! I was wondering if you were going to keep your "last name" (batistelli) or were you going to change it to your new last name???
