Trust
This summer has flown by. Wasn't it just Christmas? I feel certain that as we get older, time speeds up. Doesn't it feel that way sometimes? Between playing shows every weekend since June, writing and recording an album (or at least, beginning the process), being pregnant, and moving to Georgia, life has felt like a whirlwind. I honestly can't wait to settle down. Believe it or not, I have yet to step foot inside a maternity store or a Babies-R-Us…and I'm 7-months pregnant! But such is the life of a traveler. I can't wait to get all the boxes out of the nursery that don't belong, so I can fill it with the things that do belong--namely, a crib, a dresser, sweet blankets and onesies, and come October, our baby! Many of you have asked if we're having a boy or a girl, but we have decided to be surprised. So when we find out, I'll be sure to let you know! :) God is good, and I'm excited for all the new things that He is doing in our lives right now. I can't wait for you to hear the new music. It's going to be great!
In all the busyness, I'm learning to let go of the things I can't control and trust Him more fully. If He calls me to something, then I believe it is His nature to equip me with more than enough to accomplish that task. There have been times on stage or on planes this summer where I've started to feel really sick, or faint, and I've been afraid that I won't be able to finish the task at hand, but God has always come through. If we could remember His provision in the heat of the moment and look back and thank Him for the times that He has provided for us, I don't think we'd get so worked up and worried over the things in our future. This is something I'm learning and something I hope you are too. He loves us so much, and He never gives us more than we can handle. Praise God! He is good!

Francesca you are my role model I am in my first year of middle school and I am still trying to make friends right now I have no one to talk to. But whenever I am down I think of your song BLUE SKY. I listen to your CD in the shower and I am in choir at my school but I am afraid to sing by myself in front of people. I want to be Free to be me but how do I do it? Any advise?

My daughter Jannah (my profile pic) is the biggest fan you've ever had (or so she thinks). Not because you are awesome, but because you have inspired her to be who she is. She has come out of her "singing-in-the-shower" shell to now performing at singing competitions with your songs. Her 10th birthday is September 7th, BUT I've purchased tickets to your next show in Franklin, TN. She doesn't have any idea and won't until I pick her up from school that day. By the way you said you've felt sick over the summer I think i know what you will be having. I don't want to spoil the surprise though. It just made more anxious that you said you wanted to keep it as a surprise, I can't wait till you tell what the baby's gender is. Have you thought of names?

it's incredible
It's incredible how faithful the Lord is. I love that He is the same for everyone, He's constant. He doesn't treat you any differently because your famous nor does He treat me differently because I'm not. I think it's so awesome the example that your setting for others. Your passion and your fire for the Lord is inspiring. I admire people that are so open with their faith. You have faith like David, as I like to say. A faith that shows others that you know you can do anything, make it through anything, because you have the Lord on your side. I strive to have this type of faith. Currently my family is struggling to make some life changing decisions, and your music, your attitude, and your faith is a great example to follow in a time like this. You are a reminder to me of how incredibly amazing God truly is, and that nothing is impossible with Him. I see His light shining so brightly through you. Thank you so much for all of your hard work. You truly are such a witness, not only to me, but to the world. Your music helps me worship our God on a whole new level. Francesca, you are amazing, your my favorite and God loves you. So do I!!
Letting go
I'm Letting Go was the first song I ever heard of yours - (probably 2.5 years ago) in the middle of my divorce, no less, when the life I planned for me really was falling apart! I had to learn to let go and let Him take control, even when I would have really rather been steering the ship myself. So thank you for letting go and allowing your gifts to be used by God - you just never know who you may touch (maybe a 43 year old woman who is having to live alone for the first time in her life while supporting 2 kiddos).
That being said, you have a great support system if you haven't had to be in a maternity or toy store yet. Enjoy it. Register. Let those that desire to help you provide help. Oh and Francesca, please make time and take Lamaze. You just never know.
