Hey friends – Hopefully you’ve been hearing my song “Free To Be Me” on the radio the last few weeks! I’m really excited about how this song is impacting people and I love hearing from all of you.
Today I’m really excited to offer a sneak peak of the new music video for “Free To Be Me” to members of my official website! I loved every minute of making this video. I am so grateful to say I worked with the amazing Erwin brothers. We laughed a LOT and tried to stay warm and really had fun shooting this over two days. I wanted to thank you for sharing your talent and your heart. I came across your music about three months ago from hearing "Letting Go" on a local radio station and fell in love. The words God has given to your songs just hit home with me.
Just today, I was driving and listening to my K-Love station. I've battled anorexia for 4 years and have been in recovery for 2. It's still a battle everyday to not slip back into it, but with God's grace I've been ok. Today, I was having a hard time remembering who I am in Christ and deal with it. Your song "Free To Be Me" came on. The first verse just brought me to tears - "But You've already won the battle and You've got great plans for me, though I can't always see." It was just what I needed to remind me that I am free in my Lord Jesus. HALLEJUHA!
